Aerospace and Military Electronic Components
Our engineered component coatings are ideal for engine components, washers, and fasteners requiring low friction, high-temperature lubrication or electrical insulation. Our coatings can also help make routine maintenance easier by easing the strain on engine bolts.
Precision Coating offers numerous coating materials for military, aerospace, and electronics applications, including Teflon®, PTFE, and Dry Film Lubricant Mos2.
Our engineered component coatings are perfect for aircraft engine components, washers and fasteners that require low friction, high-temperature lubrication or electrical insulation.
All of our coatings meet AMS and military specifications.
Benefits of our Aircraft, Military and Electronic Components include:
- Easy maintenance. Highly-engineered washers used in aircraft engines aid in the routine maintenance of these engines, easing the strain on bolts.
- Multiple benefits. Our coatings offer low friction and high-temperature lubrication or electrical insulation.
- Vast selection of coating options. A wide range of coatings can be applied, including:
– Teflon®
– PTFE
– Dry Film Lubricant Mos2
Food Processing Equipment
In the food processing industry, PTFE coatings are often applied to equipment to aid in the release of products from cooking surfaces. Our non-stick, PTFE coatings provide high temperature performance, with operating temperatures up to 500°F.
In the food processing equipment industry, a PTFE coating is applied to equipment to aid in the release of products from the cooking process.
Benefits of our Food Processing Equipment include:
- High temperature performance. Operating temperatures up to 500°F.
- Non-stick surfaces. PTFE coatings are applied to the inside of the muffin flite to achieve a non-stick surface.
Plastic Heat Sealing
While aluminum, steel, and other metal substrates can all be easily coated, the process requires considerably more precision and skill when coating plastic or rubber products. Precision Coating has the experience and the know-how to add a range of coating materials to rubber or plastic substrates, including Teflon®, Teflon® S, FEP, PFA, and Silvertone Supra®.
We offer no-cost engineering services to help determine the appropriate coating specifications and tolerances for your application.
While aluminum, steel and stainless substrates can all be easily coated, plastic and rubber products that require part configuration and selective masking of surfaces, must meet exact specifications and tolerances.
Benefits of our Plastic Heat Sealing and Molding of Plastic or Rubber Products include:
- Expert engineering assistance. Our no-charge engineering services will help you determine the appropriate specifications and tolerances for your application. For example, aluminum seal plates and heat platens for the packing industry require a Silverstone Supra® to achieve a non-stick wear surface with operating temperatures up to 500°F.
- Vast selection of coating options. A wide range of products can be used for these demanding nonstick release surface applications, including:
– Teflon®
– Teflon® S
– FEP
– PFA
– Silverstone Supra®
Semiconductor Tooling & Machine Components
Semiconductor equipment is frequently exposed to harsh chemical environments, and must be able to operate regardless of environmental conditions. To meet these challenges, Precision Coating offers several different types of fluoropolymer coatings for semiconductor tooling and machine components.
Our semiconductor coatings provide low-friction surfaces to reduce wear and extend component life, deliver high temperature performance (up to 500°F), and can make clean-up easier. A number of coating materials are available, including Teflon®, Teflon® S, TFE, FEP, and PTFE.
Typical machine components that require coating include:
- end-effectors
- carriers
- platforms
- clamp seal housings
- yokes
- bases
Benefits of our Semiconductor Industry Tooling and Machine Components include:
- Low friction coatings. PTFE coatings can withstand extensive wear in demanding environments.
- High temperature performance. Operating temperatures up to 500°F.
- Easy clean-up. Our engineered component coatings provide a much easier clean-up process.
- Wide range of coating options. This includes:
– Teflon®
– TFE
– Teflon® S
– FEP
– PTFE
