PPS (Polyphenylene Sulfide)

Polyphenylene Sulfide – often referred to as Ryton® – is an organic polymer consisting of aromatic rings linked with sulfides. Precision Coating processes the powdered form of PPS , mixing it with other materials to create a high performance coating. The resulting coating (called CRC 1000) has the properties of Ryton® that can be applied to complex geometries.

CRC 1000 coating exhibits superior chemical resistance as well as excellent abrasion and wear resistance.
Due to its outstanding properties, CRC 1000 is used in extensively in the chemical processing industry in such applications as wire and thread guides, molds, housings, driers, valves, stirrers, gears and reactor linings.
