Precision Coating to Showcase Reformulated PTFE Medical Device Coating at MD&M Minneapolis 2007
August 06, 2007
Precision Coating Co. Inc. will be highlighting its reformulated PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) medical device coating system at MD&M Minneapolis 2007, being held at the Minneapolis Convention Center, Minneapolis, MN, October 16-18. Visitors to booth #1754 will receive samples of reformulated aqueous-based PTFE coated guide wires. “We are very pleased with the results of our work to reformulate our aqueous-based PTFE coatings. We are able to meet the EPA guidelines for PFOA limits while maintaining our adhesion and low friction characteristics of the coating,” says Bob DeAngelis, President, Precision Coating Co., Inc. The Precision Coating team will be on hand at the MD&M Minneapolis Show to provide samples and guidance on how to select an appropriate flouropolymer coating system for medical devices. This will be Precision Coating’s first time exhibiting at MD&M Minneapolis.
